Creepy Dolls...according to Jamie Pope

Back in the day, I used to do lots of crafts. One of the things that I really enjoyed making was these 'cry baby' dolls or 'pouting' dolls, what ever you want to call them. (This one featured in the picture is Auntie Brenda's)

I used to always have one sitting on a little bench in the corner of the kitchen. Well, Jamie Pope would come over she liked to "play" with them and it wasn't because she liked them. She was super creeped out by it. Jamie Pope, you'll have to refresh my memory as to what you used to do to it. I know you would do funny things with them but as I age gracefully, my mind has gotten a little fuzzy. I hope this brings back some wonderful memories.
PS: I miss seeing your face randomly show up at supper time! Love ya!

Personal Secretary

Being computer/typing/very bad spelling illiterate. My eldest daughter Jamie has become my personal blog secretary. (Yup, it's me Jamie writing this, the sassy pants one) Let's talk about the spellling for a moment. One time, my grocery list was so badly spelled, that once I got to the store, I couldn't even read what I'd written. Let's see how good you do with my grocery list:
1. celiry
2. letus
3. smoks
4. chez wiz
5. ketup
6. musterd
7. relesh
8. oions
That's just to mention a few. Sometimes I would leave my grocery list laying around and every so often there would be some corrections and lots of giggles.
Also, if I were to type this blog myself, it would have taken me at least 2 hours and that's NO LIE and not a laughing matter. Needless to say, I get really frusterated, and that's why I have a personal blog secretary.
However, one day I will surprise you all (even Jamie) and I will actually write my own blog by myself. And I will let everyone know that I did it. I would imagine that it will be a very short blog but a blog none the less.

Double Trouble

So we thought 2 children would be plenty...well, you know how that goes. One morning I woke up and the air smelt really funny, and I KNEW, uh oh, pregnant again. Well, things were going fine and dandy, the usual morning sickness, gout, but I knew that something was definatly different about this pregnancy. However, life goes on. On days when my head wasn't in the toilet, I was trying to take care of the other 2 little blessings.
One night as I was praying with the girls, they decided that they needed to pray for mom to have TWO babies so that they could each have one. And like a normal stressed out mom, I wasn't really paying attention to what they were praying for...you know, just going through the mommy motions.
So, about 3 months along, I went in for my ultrasound, laying on the table I was joking with the technician asking him how many there was in there, and he asked me: "do twins run in your family?" and I said "yes", not thinking anything of the question, then he asked, did your doctor give you any indication that you would be expecting twins? and I said NO. What are you trying to tell me here buddy? How many is in there? Well Mrs. Primeau, he said, you are having TWINS!!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I didn't know whether to laugh, or cry, or kick him.
Needless to say, I wouldn't send them back or trade them in, and the girls got what they prayed for...one sister for each of them. God definatly has a sense of humor.
My advice to all my young readers out there is be careful what you pray for.
